Have you ever wondered how a promising idea transforms into a successful startup? If you’re interested in venturing into entrepreneurship, this course is designed to provide you with practical strategies and a data-driven approach to create your own business. By the end of the course, students will gain exposure to various tools such as customer journey maps, minimum viable product, and the Lean Business Model Canvas, which can aid you in validating your business proposition. As this is a course designed to get you familiar with entrepreneurship, you do not need a business idea or a team to enroll.
This course is for students who have made progress in their startups and is intended for student teams who are working on a project that they believe has startup potential. Teams admitted to the Startup Accelerator will assume the role of co-founders and build their companies. The aim of this course is to have the teams focus on building something people want. Obsessed with making progress, they apply a disciplined approach to advance their vision. At the end of the semester, teams participate in the annual Pitch Tank Competition where they get a chance to win dilutive funding for their businesses.
The entrepreneurship journey can be hard to navigate and is rarely done on your own. Our weekly events & gatherings are a safe space for teams to come together and share experiences and help solve that challenges of starting a business.
We meet every Thursday between 12.30 to 2 PM in Kaplan’s Idea Shop! For more information, view events below.
